• For Hypercholesterolemia and Prevention of Cardiovascular Events:
  • Initial dose: The usual starting dose is 10 mg to 20 mg once daily in the evening.
  • Dose adjustment: Depending on the desired cholesterol reduction and individual response, the dose may be increased in increments, usually up to 40 mg once daily.
