About the Product – Mupirocin (KAPTROBAN) 20mg Ointment
Mupirocin (KAPTROBAN) 20mg Ointment is a topical antibiotic used for the treatment of skin infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Each gram of ointment contains 20mg of Mupirocin, a naturally derived antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, making it highly effective against Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA) and Streptococcus species.
Manufactured under the KAPTROBAN brand, this formulation is ideal for managing localized skin infections such as impetigo, infected wounds, folliculitis, minor burns, and abrasions. Its targeted antibacterial action and minimal systemic absorption make it a safe and effective choice for both children and adults.
Packaged in a convenient tube, KAPTROBAN is suitable for hospital, clinic, and at-home first aid use to ensure prompt treatment of bacterial skin infections and prevention of secondary complications.
