Indication – Mupirocin (KAPTROBAN) 20mg Ointment

KAPTROBAN is indicated for the topical treatment of primary and secondary skin infections, including:

• Impetigo

• Furunculosis (boils)

• Folliculitis

• Infected wounds, cuts, abrasions, minor burns

• Nasal carriage of Staphylococcus aureus (when prescribed as nasal ointment)

• Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily

• Cover with a sterile gauze dressing if necessary
