• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) not responsive to conventional therapy

• Diabetic gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying)

• Facilitating small bowel intubation or radiographic procedures involving the gastrointestinal tract

• Prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with certain diagnostic procedures or treatments

Dosage of Metoclopramide AS HCI

The appropriate dosage of Metoclopramide AS HCl (METO) 10mg Tablet 100’s varies depending on the condition being treated and the patient’s age, weight, and renal function.

Typical adult dosage:

• Nausea/vomiting: 10mg taken up to 3–4 times daily, 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime

• Gastroparesis: 10mg taken 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime, usually for 2–8 weeks

• GERD: 10–15mg taken up to four times daily, 30 minutes before meals

Note: The maximum recommended duration of use is generally 12 weeks due to the risk of serious neurological side effects.
