Eurosol R in D5 Water 1000mL is a sterile, balanced electrolyte solution with 5% Dextrose, designed to meet the daily fluid and electrolyte needs of patients, especially those unable to eat or drink normally. It contains sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, acetate, and phosphate in physiologically balanced concentrations, along with 50g of Dextrose per liter to supply 170 kcal of energy per 1000mL.

This solution is ideal for maintenance IV therapy, especially in postoperative patients, those with mild fluid losses, or individuals requiring temporary parenteral hydration and nutrition. The acetate and phosphate components help maintain acid-base balance, while the electrolyte profile supports intracellular and extracellular fluid regulation.

Indication – Eurosol R in D5 Water 1000mL

Eurosol R in D5 is indicated for:

• Electrolyte replacement during postoperative recovery or mild stress conditions

• Temporary nutritional support through parenteral caloric supplementation

• Prevention of hypoglycemia, catabolism, and electrolyte imbalance during fasting
