- Severe infections: 750mg twice daily
- Urinary tract infections: 250-500mg twice daily for 7-14 days
- Respiratory infections: 500-750mg twice daily for 7-14 days
- Typhoid fever: 500mg twice daily for 10 days
- Anthrax prophylaxis: 500mg twice daily for 60 days
- Multi-drug resistant tuberculosis: As prescribed by a physician
