About the Product – 0.9% Sodium Chloride 1000mL
0.9% Sodium Chloride 1000mL, commonly known as Normal Saline, is a sterile, isotonic solution used for fluid and electrolyte replenishment, wound irrigation, intravenous therapy, and dilution of medications. Each 1000mL bottle contains 9 grams of sodium chloride per liter of water, closely mimicking the body’s natural extracellular fluid.
This solution is an essential component in hospital settings, emergency care, outpatient clinics, and home healthcare, where it serves various clinical purposes such as restoring fluid balance, flushing IV lines, and maintaining hydration during or after surgery or illness.
Packaged in a sterile, non-pyrogenic 1000mL plastic bottle (or glass, depending on manufacturer), it is suitable for intravenous administration, topical irrigation, and medication dilution, as directed by healthcare professionals.
